Our approach
FABILLION asks only for what the experience needs. We don't sell personal information, show behavioural advertising to children or build advertising profiles.
What we keep about adults
- Your name and email address, to run your account and contact you about it.
- Your password and Family PIN, stored only in a form that can be checked, not read.
- Your Family settings and privacy choices.
- Messages you send us through Help and contact.
- If you become a storyteller: your public profile, your stories with their rights and source information, and the recordings you upload.
What we keep for children's profiles
- A nickname and an avatar chosen from our set — not a photo or a real name.
- The experience band (ages 6–9 or 10–12), not a date of birth.
- Listening settings such as text size, calmer motion and playback speed, and preferred story languages.
- Where each story was paused, so a child can carry on, and which stories they heard.
What we never collect
- A child's location. The Atlas shows where stories come from, never where anyone is.
- Contact details, photos or recordings of children.
- Messages between children, or between children and adults.
- Advertising identifiers.
How we use information
To run accounts and profiles, play stories and remember where children paused, keep FABILLION safe, answer questions, and — once payments open — handle subscriptions and pay storytellers.
What storytellers see
Storytellers see grouped numbers only, such as how many families have access to their stories. Small numbers are hidden. They never see a child's profile, name or listening.
How long we keep it
Only as long as it's needed. The periods for each kind of record are still to be decided; the Data Retention policy will list them.
Your rights
You can see, correct, export and delete your family's information. The Data Rights page explains how, and what is available today.
Legal basis and countries
The legal bases for each use, international transfers and the rights that apply in each country will be completed once the launch countries are decided and this policy has been reviewed by lawyers.
